CosplayAI is designed as a privacy-first mobile utility. While we process your images to provide our AI features, we do not build databases of your personal photos.
1. Image Handling & Local Storage
Stateless Image Processing: When you use a feature (e.g., Outfit Swap, Weight Modification), your image is sent securely via our API to our inference provider (Google Gemini) for processing and returned immediately. We do not save your uploaded photos or generated results to a cloud database. Images are stored locally on your device within your gallery.
2. Account Data We Collect (Firestore)
While we do not store your photos, we do store necessary account metadata in our secure Firebase database to manage your app access:
- Account State: Your randomly generated User ID (UID), current credit balance, Pro status, and daily credit limit.
- Device Identifiers: We collect your Device ID (Android ID) strictly for anti-abuse purposes (to prevent free credit farming).
3. App Permissions
To function correctly, the app requires specific permissions on your device:
- Photo Library / Storage: Required to select images for editing and to save your generated results back to your device.
- Advertising Identifiers: Used to serve rewarded advertisements if you choose to watch ads for free credits.
4. Third-Party Processors
We use trusted infrastructure to power the app:
- Google Gemini & Custom Backend: The AI engine used for image manipulation. They process images statelessly and do not use your data for model training.
- RevenueCat: Handles subscription management and cross-platform purchase verification.
- Google AdMob: Serves rewarded advertisements. AdMob collects device data and advertising IDs to personalize ads.
- Firebase Suite: Handles anonymous authentication, database hosting (Firestore) for your credit balance, and app crash analytics.
5. Account Deletion & Retention
You have full control to permanently delete your account data at any time.
- How to delete: Navigate to the Settings within the app and request deletion, or email our support.
- Process: The deletion removes your UID, credit balance, and metadata from our Firestore database.
Anti-Abuse Policy: To prevent the exploitation of initial free credits, deleting your account triggers an automatic 90-day re-registration block. You will be unable to create a new free account using the same Device ID for 90 days.

By downloading or using the CosplayAI mobile application, you agree to these terms.
1. User License & Ownership
Your Content: You retain ownership of the photos you upload. You also own the commercial rights to the images generated by the AI, subject to Google Gemini's standard AI usage policies.
2. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use the application (including features like Outfit Try-On, Pose Rerender, or Body Weight modification) to create, upload, or distribute any content that:
- Depicts or creates deepfakes, face swaps, or altered images of real individuals without their explicit consent.
- Modifies the bodily appearance (e.g., weight alteration) of another individual without their consent to shame, bully, or harass them.
- Includes or depicts minors in any sexualized, suggestive, or exploitative manner (CSAM).
- Contains nudity, sexual content, or fetish material involving real individuals without consent.
- Creates non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII), including edited or generated images.
- Promotes or depicts violence, self-harm, abuse, harassment, hate speech, or discrimination.
- Attempts to bypass safety systems, content moderation, or usage limits.
Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of access, without refund.
3. In-App Purchases, Subscriptions & Ads
- Free Tier & Ads: Free users may access certain features by consuming credits or watching Rewarded Advertisements (provided by Google AdMob). Ad availability is not guaranteed and subject to daily limits.
- PRO Subscriptions: Premium access ("CosplayAI PRO") provides 100 daily generations, faster processing, and ad-removal. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled.
- Billing & Management: Payments and subscription renewals are securely processed by Google Play and managed via RevenueCat.
- Cancellations & Refunds: You must cancel subscriptions directly through your Google Play Account settings. Refund requests must be directed to the Google Play Store support systems.
4. Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is." AI generation can occasionally produce unpredictable or inaccurate results. While we strive for high uptime, we are not responsible for data loss resulting from app crashes, local device storage failure, or network interruptions. You are responsible for backing up your generated images to your personal Photo Library.
